Synopsis

Cooking instructor Sawada Taki has grown increasingly disillusioned with her marriage. Despite dedicating herself to preparing meals, her husband shows little interest in food and never expresses how much he enjoys her cooking.
Meanwhile, magazine editor Saito Rei is frustrated by his family’s reliance on frozen meals and by his wife’s unwillingness to support his wish to serve homemade dishes to their vegetable-averse daughter.
Bound by their shared dissatisfaction with life around the dinner table, these two married adults meet through work. As they begin cooking and sharing meals together, they gradually find comfort, fulfillment, and emotional connection in each other’s company.
