Synopsis

Matsumi Kanata, an elite detective within the Tokyo Metropolitan Police Department’s Third Investigative Division, is highly intelligent and exceptionally athletic, but a lone wolf who struggles to connect with others.

One day, he receives orders to go undercover at the Tsubakino University of Arts, a former women’s college that only became co-educational three years ago. Authorities believe the suspect behind a series of deadly drone bombing incidents is hiding on campus.
To conceal his identity as a detective at a university where most of the students are women, Kanata must find a way to blend in – leading him to go undercover disguised as a woman?!

As his investigation unfolds, Kanata unexpectedly lands a role in the university’s musical production. Joining rehearsals, he finds himself inspired by his fellow cast members’ passion and dedication, and before long he’s pouring his heart into practice, his mission all but forgotten.
Surrounded by newfound friends who transcend both gender and social status, Kanata experiences the carefree youth he never got to live – until everything changes on the day of the performance. Can Kanata uncover the true identity of the bomber? And what will become of the musical?
