Synopsis

Yukisuke, a research assistant in biological archaeology at a university, begins visiting a taiyaki shop run solely by a woman named Koyomi. As he becomes a regular customer, the two gradually grow closer. However, one morning, Koyomi is struck by a traffic accident and falls into a coma. Although Koyomi miraculously regains consciousness, it is revealed that she suffers from memory impairment caused by the accident. While her memories from before the accident remain intact, any new memories formed after waking disappear after just one day. Despite the heartbreaking condition, Yukisuke tries to continue treating Koyomi the same as before, but their fragile relationship is soon tested by the painful reality of her fading memories.
