Synopsis

Remake of South Korean drama Stove League that was a huge international success in 2019.
This human drama follows a GM with no baseball experience who takes on the challenge of rebuilding a perpetually last-place professional baseball team.

“The Dreams” are a professional baseball team that has spent years cemented at the bottom of the standings. With team chemistry at an all-time low and fan attendance in freefall, the franchise makes a shocking front-office move: bringing in Sakurazaki Jun (Kamenashi Kazuya) as General Manager – a man with absolutely zero baseball experience.

He sets out to overhaul the team with bold, unconventional reforms that turn baseball tradition on its head. While clashing with, and rallying alongside others, he begins driving change within the organization, one step at a time.

As players and staff begin rediscovering their lost passion for the game, Sakurazaki Jun himself is forced to confront a dark past he has long carried alongside his teammates — and the road to redemption finally begins to move forward. But lurking behind the scenes, franchise owner Negishi So (Nomura Mansai) is quietly advancing an agenda of his own…
