Synopsis

Based on a legend surrounding the yokai “Sunekosuri,” a small mischeivous creature of the Okayama Prefecture that is known to get in the way of people while they walk.
 
Starring Takahashi Issei, the story begins when a young man who has injured his leg in the forest is guided by a woman’s beautiful singing voice to an old, timeworn shrine.
There, he finds a mysterious man living together with his young wife, Sayuri.
After receiving devoted care and having his wound healed, the young man spends time in this place as if time itself has come to a standstill.
The repeatedly tranquil days seem as though they might continue forever.
