Synopsis

On the verge of turning 30, Oyama Taro calls himself a film director, but in reality he is financially supported by the woman he lives with. His film is successfully selected for a film festival in Oita Prefecture, but he receives harsh criticism from the festival’s female organizer. The next day, still heartbroken, Taro heads to the neighboring town of Chikugo, where he encounters a mysterious woman named Sunahara Miki. Miki, who reveals she had watched Taro’s film at the festival, joins him on a short two-day, one-night journey. Though her true identity remains unclear, Miki’s openhearted nature draws Taro in. As Taro opens up to her about his lack of confidence in filmmaking, he gradually begins to develop slight romantic feelings for her…
