Synopsis

This coming-of-age film, directed by up-and-coming filmmaker Shimizu—winner of the Best J. Horror Award at the Japan Film Festival Los Angeles 2022—was shot entirely on location in his hometown of Gifu. The story follows Okura Minoru, a young boy chasing the memory of his late mother, as he confronts loss and fear in a transformative summer and learns to live in the present.
