Donketsu

Adapted from a manga by Taashi, Donketsu is centered around a legendary violent member of the Yakuza named Sawada Masatoshi (Ito Hideaki), who earned the nickname “Rokemasa” ever since he fired a rocket launcher which destroyed a rival group’s headquarters. However, his reckless and unruly personality has held him back, leaving him a “donketsu” yakuza — stuck with no prospects for advancement even in his late 40s.
