Synopsis

It’s a depressing Monday morning, and the week begins for “me”, a female bank employee working as an office lady. Despite struggling with sleepiness, she carefully applies her makeup and leaves home. After enduring a stress-packed train commute, she meets up with Maki at the station nearest their workplace – her closest colleague and fellow company recruit.

Conversations with Maki, who shares similar values, are sometimes intensely pointless yet mysteriously engaging. In the company changing room, they’re joined by junior colleague Sae, eighth-year employee Komine, and tenth-year veteran Sakaki, and their usual pre-work chatter begins to bloom.

This workplace comedy delves into the daily lives, relationships, and conversations of female office workers as they navigate corporate life, capturing the mundane yet meaningful moments that define their working days.
