Synopsis

The story begins when Mochizuki Kento, a stage actor based in Tokyo, receives a letter from someone he’s never heard of — Hoshino Miho, a girl living in Otaru. While dreaming of becoming a dancer, Miho spends her high school days juggling part-time jobs after the death of her mother. One day, she discovers an old cellphone among her mother’s belongings and finds a photo of her mother in her youth with Kento. Drawn to this hidden chapter of her mother’s ‘youthful days’ that were never spoken of, Miho decides to send Kento a letter. This leads Kento to travel to Otaru to meet Miho. As he begins to suspect that he might be her father, he confronts his own sense of loss and slowly forges a bond with Miho—one that goes beyond the word “family.”
