Synopsis

Detective Shirosaki Tatsuhiko (Machida Keita) was thriving as part of the Metropolitan Police Department’s Criminal Investigation Division, forming a top-rated duo with his partner Sasazuka Shinpei (Koizumi Kotaro). Their partnership boasted the highest arrest rate in the department. However, Shirosaki’s life is turned upside down when his beloved wife Keiko suddenly disappears.

When Keiko’s mentor, a freelance journalist, is found dead shortly after, Shirosaki becomes convinced his wife is entangled in something dangerous. Despite his concerns, the police refuse to investigate and Shirosaki is removed from active duty.
Outraged by the department’s puzzling response, Shirosaki resigns and establishes the “Missing Persons Search Team” – a detective agency specializing in disappearance cases. Together with a team of unique professionals from various fields and his greatest ally Sasazuka, he begins tracking down Keiko and others who have vanished.
As their investigation deepens, they gradually uncover dark societal secrets – the “vanished truths” that powerful forces have worked to conceal.
