Synopsis

A high school student named Akiko (Nagano Mei) spends her days in a dazed state while harboring a dream of becoming a manga artist. For this aspiring popular manga artist, a record of her battle with her most terrifying art teacher, Hidaka “Sensei” (Oizumi Yo) and the cruel “lies” and “hidden stories” she could never tell him lie in wait.

Higashimura, who drew this story while crying, presents her own true story in a live-action film.

Set across three cities – Miyazaki, Ishikawa, and Tokyo – this narrative weaves the irreplaceable days with her mentor. A new story that everyone has likely experienced: the encounters and partings with precious people.
