Actor Tamura Masakazu will be starring in the drama series, “Kokuhatsu: Kokusen Bengo Nin” (Prosecution: Court-Appointed Attorney) next year January (TV Asahi Thu 9PM). It’ll be 4 years since he last starred in a drama. His wonderful cast consists of: Maya Miki, Aibu Saki, and Hashizdume Isao. It was reported that several female actresses will be making guest appearances like Kimura Tae, Shaku Yumiko, and Ichihara Etsuko.
Tamura will be portraying the lawyer protagonist, Sawara, who can’t ask for any monetary gain from the defendants who seek his counsel.
Maya Miki is Tanaka Junko, the younger sister of Sawara’s deceased wife who is supporting Sawara financially and emotionally. Sawara’s only daughter portrayed by Yamaguchi Tomomitsu is a member of the International Physicians for Peace and her fiancee Sato Kengo is also a member.
