Tabe Mikako, Nagasawa Masami and Mizobata Junpei at Ni no Kuni Event
Actress Tabe Mikako (21) and actress Nagasawa Masami (23) were present at a press event on 12/8 for the role-playing game “Ni no Kuni.” It was Tabe’s first time to do voice-over work for a game/anime. Nagasawa appeared at the event with a short and messy pixie cut. Pretty boy Mizobata Junpei was also present.

The game is a joint project between Level 5 who created the Professor Layton series and Studio Ghibli. The game was released on 12/9 for the Nintendo DS in Japan, which you can [amazon_link id=”B001GNBW8E” target=”_blank” ]buy here[/amazon_link] if you can read Japanese. It will also be released on the PS3 next year.

From Wikipedia: The player assumes the role of a 13 year-old boy named Oliver, a resident of Hotroit City, whose mother, Arie, dies suddenly. A doll, previously given to Oliver by his mother, reveals itself to be a male fairy named Shizuku, who gives Oliver a magic book that allows him to go to the world of “Ninokuni,” a reality parallel to his own, where the fairy states the boy may be able to revive his mother. There, he encounters alternate versions of people he knows.
