Actor and singer Fukuyama Masaharu’s (41) best of album titled, “The Best Bang!!” sold 381,000 copies and took the top spot in Oricon’s Weekly Album Ranking. When it comes to solo male singers, Hirai Ken made an initial breakthrough of 300,000 copies back in 2005, roughly 5 years ago. This year solo artist, Nishino Kana’s (21) “to Love” sold over 290,000 copies of her album. KAT-TUN’s “Change Ur World” took the top spot for singles.
Fukuyama Masaharu can currently be seen in the NHK Taiga drama Ryomaden.
