According to a survey taken by entertainment magazine “Ori Star,” of 1000 readers, the favorite drama for the fall season was “Freeter, Ie wo Kau” with Arashi’s Ninomiya Kazunari as the lead.
“Freeter, Ie wo Kau” is a drama about regaining family ties and centers on a “Freeter’s” (something like a freeloader) struggle to change his attitude about his lifestyle. “Freeter” received high marks from readers because of the social topics of being a “freeter” and “family ties.” Lead star, Ninomiya Kazunari was also voted number 1 for “Favorite Actor” and Ninomiya’s group, Arashi was voted for “Favorite Theme Song” for the Drama Award Fall 2010.
