Actor Sakai Masato (37) and actress Nakama Yukie (31) made an appearance on 12/4 for the opening of their period flick, “Bushi no Kakeibo” (The Samurai’s Account Book).

The movie is a drama about family life which centers around an accountant who reorganizes the family finances because of debt and he uses the abacus as his weapon. The protagonist Sakai commented, “It’s been awhile since the family has come together. I think this has become a wonderful film where families come together.” Nakama Yukie looked beautiful in her kimono as she went on stage, “I’ve truly yearned for a family like this.”

In the movie, the family substituted sea bream pictures to be frugal and on this day to celebrate the opening of the movie, they had the actual sea bream pictures on stage. Sakai and Nakama both threw the sea breams up in the air as presents to the crowd.
