What is Drama Club? It’s a monthly podcast where amrayu, catstreet and mango from Drama-Otaku.com chat about a Japanese drama, movie or special that they’ve seen. Each month will center around a theme. We will announce the dramas, movies, or specials that we’ll watch beforehand so you can watch along with us. 🙂

This month’s theme is a continuing celebration for Miura Haruma and Takeuchi Yuko who both celebrated birthdays in April. We also lost them to suicide in 2020 at the start of the pandemic. We picked Last Cinderella for Miura Haruma for May and Miss Sherlock for Takeuchi Yuko in June. This episode of Drama Club is dedicated to Takeuchi Yuko, the bubbly actress often dubbed the Audrey Hepburn of Japan.
