Utada Hikaru “I want to work part-time abroad”

Singer Utada Hikaru (27) made an appearance on a Tokyo FM radio station on 11/28.

Utada has stated that she’ll be taking a break next year to concentrate on her life. During the radio program chat with personality, Sugisaki Mika (32), Utada stated, “There’s no growth if you keep doing what you’re good at. In other words, I want to live on my own. There’s nothing concrete that Utada has decided on, but she said, “I’ll go abroad and I want a normal paying job. Like a part-time job. Perhaps volunteer. Or work at a restaurant where I come into contact with the general public. Also since I like the smell of books, [working at] a used bookstore would be great, too.”
