Utada Hikaru’s PV Goodbye Happiness

Utada Hikaru just released her new song, “Goodbye Happiness” from her album “Utada Hikaru Single Collection Vol. 2” last night on Youtube and it has already hit 260k views. The video was directed by Hikaru herself, and playfully mocks some of her past videos like “Automatic,” “Heart Station,” “Prisoner of Love,” and “Traveling.”

Utada Hikaru tweeted last night in Japanese, “The room in the PV (promotional video) was shot on set, but various things from my actual room are scattered everywhere. Also the socks were my idea, too. Good night.” She also stated that she’s taking a break starting next year.
