Sharp-eyed fans of both Trent Reznor and Rock Band were no doubt already aware that three Nine Inch Nails master tracks were scheduled to be released over the Rock Band DLC circuit on March 18th. These were:

    • “The Collector”
    • “March of the Pigs”
    • “The Perfect Drug”

Now by some strange turn of circumstances, all three tracks will be hitting the streets several weeks ahead of schedule. As posted over on the official Rock Band forums, the Nine Inch Nails combo pack will be made available via the PlayStation Store and Xbox Live Marketplace starting the week of February 26th — next week. Pricing is $1.99 per song (160 Microsoft points) or $5.49 (440 Microsoft points) for the combo.

No explanation was given for the surprise change in scheduling — a fact which makes us plenty curious about what exactly will drop once March 18th rolls around (and whether the rest of the March schedule is legit). Guess we’ll keep doing the weekly updates!
